      Recall that the official was detained in December 2025 on charges of receiving a bribe for assistance in organizing illegal parking. According to the investigation, from February to September 2025, Sergey Egorov, while serving as the first deputy mayor, received 120,000 rubles through an intermediary from an individual entrepreneur and a commercial organization.

      The contract for organizing parking on Kosmicheskaya, Admiral Nakhimov, and 40 Years of Victory streets was concluded with the director of LLC GK "Nizhny Novgorod Partner" and an entrepreneur specializing in building materials.

      Permits were issued; however, according to the investigation, Sergey Egorov demanded cash payments and the termination of the contracts. The former vice-mayor admitted his guilt.
