The construction of the terrace park in the Pochainsky ravine has been suspended.

As reported by NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" from JSC "DiRON," which is the contractor for the construction, there is currently an agreement being negotiated between the company and the customer - MBU "GUMMiD" regarding an additional agreement to change the essential terms of municipal contract No. 68. The resumption of construction, including the installation of the pedestrian bridge, is planned after its signing. At the same time, the contract between JSC "DiRON" and JSC "Krokus" remains in effect. The issue of changing the subcontractor is not currently being considered. Recall that the contract for the implementation of the project was concluded in October 2022. Initially, the cost of the work was estimated at nearly 3 billion rubles, and construction began in December 2023. The project involves the creation of a multi-level public space with an amphitheater, recreation areas, a skate park, cycling and pedestrian routes, observation platforms, and water features. The work was planned to be completed by the end of 2025, but later the deadlines were adjusted, and the handover is now scheduled for November 2026. The estimated cost of the project has risen to 4.5 billion rubles. In March 2026, an additional 1.1 billion rubles was allocated for the reconstruction of the collector and engineering protection of the slopes.
