This was reported by the editor-in-chief of the medical publication "Statsionar-Press," Alexey Nikонов, on his Max channel. The woman visited the clinic without complaints. The neoplasm was detected during a scheduled mammogram. The examination was conducted by specialists from the city hospital No. 2 clinic. The patient underwent breast-conserving mastectomy. Thanks to early diagnosis, the doctors were able to preserve her breast. Since the beginning of 2026, more than 3,500 women have undergone mammography at the city hospital No. 2 clinics. Medical professionals identified 70 pathologies, including four tumors at an early stage. Doctors remind that timely examination allows for a reduction in the volume of surgical intervention and shortens the rehabilitation period.
