Currently, there are 11.1 million people with disabilities living in the country, of which 4.3 million are considered of working age, and the employment rate is 27.5%. According to the administration's data as of January 1, 2025, there are 24,800 working-age people with health issues in Nizhny Novgorod. The company is launching the "Equal Opportunities Platform," specializing in the development of inclusive hiring and increasing labor market accessibility. It is expected that the initiative could reach more than 12,500 residents of Nizhny Novgorod. Now, in job postings marked "People with health issues," employers can choose one or more categories: vision, hearing, or mobility impairments, as well as mental health issues or chronic illnesses.
