Anti-Rh immunoglobulin is being purchased for pregnant women in Nizhny Novgorod.

Anti-Rh immunoglobulin is being purchased for pregnant women in Nizhny Novgorod.

On May 26, 2026, at 11:16, the company GP "Nizhny Novgorod Regional Pharmacy" announced an electronic auction for the supply of human immunoglobulin anti-Rh RHO[D]. This is reported on the state procurement website.

The drug is necessary for pregnant women with a negative Rh factor if the father of the child has a positive Rh or his status is unknown. It can be obtained for free at the hospital under the compulsory health insurance policy or purchased independently.

The initial maximum contract price is 15.8 million rubles.

The drug is procured in the form of a solution for intravenous and intramuscular administration. It is planned to purchase 6,000 doses at a price of 2,630.54 rubles per unit. The contract will be valid from the moment of signing until December 31, 2026.

Immunoglobulin is included in the list of essential and vital medicines. Upon delivery, the remaining shelf life must be at least 12 months.

The documentation states that there is no product in the register of Russian industrial products that meets the customer's needs. A corresponding notification has been sent to the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.

Applications from participants are accepted from May 25 to June 4, 2026. On the same day, the procedure for submitting price proposals will take place, and the results of the supplier selection are planned to be announced on June 8.

It is noteworthy that earlier in May, the enterprise had already attempted to purchase 3,800 doses of the drug for a total of 10.1 million rubles, but no applications were submitted for that auction.

It was previously reported that anti-Rh immunoglobulin RHO[D] is temporarily unavailable in retail pharmacies in the region.

According to the enterprise, the absence is related to the re-registration of the price by the foreign manufacturer, and the domestic manufacturer - the Ivanovo Regional Blood Transfusion Station - does not have the drug available. It is expected that supplies to Russia may resume approximately in the third quarter of 2026.

It has also become known that the FAS has opened a case against "Nizhpharma" due to the price of the drug "Edarbi." NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has channels on Telegram and MAX. Subscribe to stay updated on major events, exclusive materials, and operational information.
