Beeline and "LizaAlert": short number 022 - a new step towards rescue

On May 25, 2026, at 17:05, the Beeline company, which has been providing technological and infrastructural support to the volunteer search and rescue team "LisaAlert" for over 13 years, announces the launch of the short number 022. Essentially, another emergency assistance number appears in Russia for situations involving a missing or lost person. From this day forward, Beeline subscribers can contact the team’s hotline 24/7 and free of charge at the three-digit number 022.

The launch coincides with May 25 - International Missing Children's Day. This is a new initiative by the operator and the team, created to ensure that missing and lost children always return home.

The new communication channel complements the federal number 8-800-700-54-52 (which will continue to operate). Three digits are much easier to remember: now, when a person goes missing, there is no need to search for contacts for help online - just dial 022.

Sergey Anokhin, General Director of Beeline:

"Our expertise and technologies are the foundation of a sustainable partnership with 'LisaAlert' and the ability to influence social issues. A recent significant achievement is the 'Geosearch LisaAlert' solution: instead of waiting for a court decision, it is enough to give consent once for data transfer in the Beeline app - and in case of danger, we will promptly determine the geolocation. We hope, together with the Ministry of Digital Development, to change the legislation to make this practice comprehensive and save even more people. Another significant step forward: the short number 022 accelerates the most important thing - seeking help. It has long been established in our culture that two- and three-digit numbers (01, 02, 03, 112) are symbols of support. 022 is becoming one of them: professionals who have conducted hundreds of thousands of rescue operations work here around the clock."

The evolution of joint projects has turned "LisaAlert" into one of the most technologically advanced search and rescue teams in the world: a federal hotline, an SMS notification system "To Get Lost is Not to Disappear," the neural network "Beeline AI - People Search" (saving over 50,000 man-hours), equipping regions with drones, the "Geosearch" service for the natural environment, participation in the NTI "Autonomous Search" competition, the "Geosearch LisaAlert" solution with prior consent for data transfer. And now - a short number that symbolizes a new task - forming a culture of safety, where people have the necessary algorithms for obtaining help in their consciousness.

Grigory Sergeev, Chairman of the volunteer search and rescue team "LisaAlert":

"For us, the launch of the short number 022 is a very important step. It is much easier for a person to remember three digits than our federal number 8 800 700-54-52. Both the short and long numbers will operate simultaneously for the next few years - until number 022 becomes as familiar to the residents of the country as emergency service numbers. We at LisaAlert constantly fight against any difficulties in obtaining help. Very often, the search for a person depends on speed: on the minutes, hours, sometimes days that are spent trying to understand whom to call and where to turn. The easier it is for a person to contact us, the closer help becomes. Three digits instead of ten is indeed an important step forward. Thank you to our partner Beeline for launching this project. I am confident that over time, other telecom operators will help make number 022 accessible to every resident of Russia."

You can contact the "LisaAlert" hotline 24/7 at number 022 (currently for Beeline subscribers) and 8-800-700-54-52 (for everyone). You can become a volunteer or subscribe to SMS notifications on the website lizaalert.beeline.ru.
