A bus with tourists from North Korea flew off the road in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      On May 25, 2026, at 10:46, incidents occurred in the Nizhny Novgorod region involving a bus carrying 40 citizens of North Korea. This was reported by SHOT. The accident happened in the morning on the 563rd kilometer of the M12 "Vostok" highway. The bus was heading to Tatarstan. According to preliminary information, the driver collided with a "Gazelle," after which he veered into oncoming traffic, knocked down road barriers, and went off into a ditch.

      As a result of the incident, seven people were injured—five citizens of the DPRK and two drivers. No official comments regarding the accident have been received at this time.
