      Young people involved in the fight at the karaoke club in Dzerzhinsk have been placed under preventive measures, reports the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      Police established that three local residents inflicted bodily harm on the victims during the conflict. A criminal case has been initiated. The suspects are under house arrest.

      According to the information provided, on May 17, 2025, early in the morning, the police department No. 2 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Dzerzhinsk received a report from witnesses and a medical institution about two adult residents of the city sustaining bodily injuries. During the investigation, police officers determined that the injuries were sustained as a result of a conflict with young people near a house on Tsialkovsky Street in Dzerzhinsk. A criminal case has been initiated under part 2 of article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism).

      Four participants in the conflict situation have been identified by police officers and brought to the police department. During the investigation, the role of each of them in the incident was established. It turned out that three of those detained used physical force against the victims. They were detained until charges were brought.

      On May 22, 2026, at the request of the investigator, the suspects aged 18, 19, and 20 were placed under house arrest for two months by a court decision. The young people had not previously been subjected to criminal liability.
