      May 22, 2026 19:30 Incidents The court ruled to recover 650,000 rubles in compensation for moral damages from the employer for a Nizhny Novgorod resident whose arm was amputated at work. This was reported by the press service of the regional prosecutor's office.

      Recall that the accident occurred on July 22 of last year. An employee of LLC Firm "Rabish" sustained a serious injury while cutting blocks on the miter saw line in the wood processing shop. The miter saw mechanism injured the man's wrist, leading to traumatic amputation.

      The investigation concluded that the victim was not at fault for the incident, but violations were found on the part of the employer. The prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit against LLC Firm "Rabish" for the recovery of moral damages, which the court granted.
