The Vyksa City Court recognized the actions of JSC "Vyksa Vodokanal" as illegal for supplying poor-quality drinking water. This was reported by the Unified Press Service of the courts of general jurisdiction of the Nizhny Novgorod region. In December 2025, complaints were received by Rospotrebnadzor regarding the non-compliance of water with sanitary standards and interruptions in supply in two residential buildings in the rural locality of Blizhne-Pesochnoe. Sampling confirmed violations of SanPiN. The Vodokanal was issued a warning, but the water quality did not improve. Rospotrebnadzor then turned to the court. The court ordered the company to bring the water quality up to standards within three months after the decision comes into force. The decision has not yet entered into legal force. Recall that earlier the court ordered the developer to provide Nizhny Novgorod residents with quality water.
