According to the press service of the FSB of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod region, FSB officers, together with the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod region, discovered and seized a Nagant revolver, which had been illegally modified from a signal equivalent and was capable of firing live ammunition, during a search at the offender's residence. The Investigative Department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod region initiated and investigated a criminal case based on the signs of a crime under part 1 of article 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The court issued a guilty verdict. A sentence of 1 year and 4 months of restriction of freedom was imposed. The verdict has not yet entered into legal force. Earlier, it was reported that aviation bombs were found in the garage of a resident of Saratov.
