He reminded that the agency supports migrants at all stages of relocation and helps them adapt. According to Pinneker, the team's task is to create the most comfortable conditions for those who have decided to move to Russia. He noted that in 2025, there were about two thousand such people, more than 100 of whom chose the Nizhny Novgorod region. Mainly, these are people from EU countries, the USA, Canada, and even New Caledonia. The head of the agency noted that the specificity of the region is such that more than 70% of migrants are families.

      "A lot of families are coming to us. Almost 40 children under 18 have already arrived. Special courses for learning the Russian language and culture have been organized for children. After completing three modules, children receive a B1 certificate and can take an exam and enroll in a Russian school," the interlocutor of NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" clarified.

      According to him, migrants have financial and intellectual resources, are not afraid to make decisions and take responsibility, comply with Russian legislation, and respect the culture and traditional values of the country. In 2026, the agency received 325 applications for relocation. In general, as noted by Pinneker, there are currently between 1,000 to 1,500 requests in progress.

      "We think that another 50-60 people will come. But it is difficult to predict because we work with people. The decision-making process: to go or not - is complex and lengthy," he noted.

      According to the head of the "OKA" agency, consultations are currently being conducted with about 150 potential migrants. He emphasized that future migrants are advised to first obtain a tourist visa and travel around the region.

      "One of our agency's tasks is to take off the rose-colored glasses. They come with the feeling that everyone is waiting for them here. And I say: no one is waiting for you. But if you consciously make the decision and want to start a new life, we will help. We will tell and show you everything," he said.
