Nizhny Novgorod volunteers went to prepare for the special military operation.

      A new group of residents from the Nizhny Novgorod region has joined volunteer units and headed from Nizhny Novgorod for combat training at a military training ground. Among them is a reserve officer with the call sign "Richer," who has previously traveled multiple times to the special military operation zone on humanitarian missions. Before signing the contract, he worked at the House of National Unity, where he accompanied and delivered humanitarian cargo to military personnel in the DPR, LPR, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions. According to him, he made 57 trips "beyond the ribbon" and maintains contact with the fighters. The volunteer stated that he intends to serve in a Cossack brigade and pass on the experience gained at the military medical academy, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and the House of National Unity to his comrades. He will also deliver special equipment for drones to the unit. "Richer" noted the support of the region's residents and cited an example of a classmate who donated a large sum for the purchase of equipment and machinery for one of the military units. Another volunteer from Bogorodsk with the call sign "Bohor" reported that he hopes to apply his experience from serving in the police and private security in the special military operation zone. The region has measures in place to support military personnel who have signed contracts with the Russian Ministry of Defense. A one-time payment of 2.1 million rubles is provided, as well as the issuance of a certificate for the provision of 10 hundredths of land in the Nizhny Novgorod region, with the possibility of use after two years. Additionally, military social contracts guarantee the contractor's family 10,000 rubles per month for each child, benefits for utility payments, preschool services, and other support measures, including individual assistance. The dispatch of residents to their place of service is organized by the coordination center for supporting military personnel, mobilized individuals, and their families based at the House of National Unity. The region also continues to send humanitarian cargo to the area of the special military operation.
