Nizhny Novgorod tourists were stuck in Turkey for a day due to a flight delay.

      May 19, 2026 17:10 Society Tourists from Nizhny Novgorod were unable to fly out of Turkey on time and spent almost a day at Antalya airport. This was reported by the Telegram channel Ni Mash.

      The issue concerns a charter flight by Azur Air, which was operated by the tour operator Fun&sun. The plane was supposed to depart at eight o'clock in the evening on May 18, but the departure was postponed multiple times.

      According to passengers, during the 14 hours of waiting, they were provided with only a bottle of water and an empty sandwich. Later, 336 people were put on buses and sent to hotels.

      It should be noted that since the night of May 19, the airport has not been accepting or releasing flights due to the threat of a drone attack. Currently, all services at the air harbor are operating normally.

      According to the online scoreboard, the delayed flight has already departed and is expected to arrive in Nizhny Novgorod at 18:35.
