      The evidence collected by the investigator of the investigative department of the closed administrative-territorial formation of Sarov of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod region was recognized by the court as sufficient for the sentencing of an engineer from the consumer services group of the energy supply company. He was found guilty of committing a crime as stipulated in subparagraphs "a" and "b" of part 7 of Article 204 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (commercial bribery committed by a group of individuals for illegal actions).

      The investigation and the court established that in November 2025, the engineer of the consumer services group, together with the section head of the energy supply company, illegally received money from a resident of the Diveevo district for facilitating illegal inaction, expressed in maintaining the existing conditions of the energy supply contract, despite having information about the conduct of commercial activities and the necessity of concluding a contract on different terms.

      The court sentenced the convicted individual to a fine of 1 million rubles and prohibited him from engaging in certain types of activities for a period of 3 years. The criminal case against the second participant is currently being considered by the court.
