      May 15, 2026 10:40 Politics "United Russia" is betting on real assistance from candidates in the preliminary voting. The Presidium of the General Council of the party recommended that they take into account the appeals that come to the website yestresult.rf.

      With the initiative to strengthen work with such appeals already at the stage of collecting mandates, member of the General Council of the party, Hero of Russia, participant in the preliminary voting of "United Russia" Vladimir Saibel spoke out. He noted that as a member of the Expert Headquarters for preparing the new People's Program, he regularly communicates with people and analyzes their requests in the document.

      "Much of what people bring to meetings and propose for the People's Program does not require the adoption of mandatory party documents and large-scale state decisions. The problems they raise can often be addressed directly and already now—by acting together with party members, our supporters, public friends, and local philanthropists. My fellow candidates in the preliminary voting confirmed that they see a similar situation in their districts," he explained.

      Vladimir Saibel proposed that the Presidium of the General Council provide recommendations to candidates in the preliminary voting on including solutions to specific problems based on the private proposals received in the People's Program.

      "The proposal is supported. I consider this correct. If we can help—we must help. People need not talk about work, but the work itself. I ask all colleagues to take these recommendations as seriously as possible. Go to the people. Take the appeals into work. Achieve results. The best practices should become a common party standard. Today, real deeds are not an addition to the campaign. They are the best agitation," concluded Vladimir Saibel.

      The implementation of the recommendations will be taken into account when making decisions on the nomination of candidates based on the results of the preliminary voting at regional conferences and the Congress of "United Russia."

      Let us remind you, "United Russia" is the only political party in the country that continuously conducts preliminary selection of candidates for deputies at all levels through open nationwide voting and grants the right to form the list of candidates to the voters themselves. Since 2009, participation in the preliminary voting procedure has been a mandatory norm for all candidates from the party.

      All registered voters in the regions can participate in the preliminary voting of "United Russia." The procedure is organized in electronic format with verification through State Services.

      For several years now, during the preliminary voting, "United Russia" has supported the fighters of the special operation. For candidates among participants and veterans of the SVO, an additional 25% is added to the results in the electronic preliminary voting.

      This year, the nomination of candidates started on March 11 and will last until May 14. Voter registration will end on May 29.
