A glass factory worth 90 million rubles is planned to be built in the Semyonovsky district.

The information was posted on the investment portal of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The project involves the creation of a factory with a capacity of over 3.6 million units of production per year. The enterprise will produce glass containers of various shapes and volumes for food industry companies and beverage manufacturers. The relevance of the initiative is due to the presence of an extensive raw material base. The municipality has LLC "Quartz Sands" operating, which provides the production of quartz sand. Additionally, there is a high demand for glass products from industrial enterprises and construction organizations. The volume of investments is estimated at 90 million rubles. The enterprise expects to create 200 jobs. The project is planned to be implemented within two years, with the same timeframe stated for its payback. A brownfield site of 24 hectares has been selected for construction. The infrastructure includes power supply—there is a source with a voltage of 10 kV located 10 meters away, and water supply will be provided by an artesian well. For wastewater disposal, a septic tank and local treatment facilities are planned. A low-pressure gas supply network runs 100 meters from the territory.
