The authorities are looking for funds to expand the Bogorodskaya highway to four lanes.

      May 13, 2026 16:16 Economy The sources of funding for the reconstruction of the Ryazhsk - Kasimov - Murom - Nizhny Novgorod road have not yet been determined. This was reported by the NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" in the Main Department of Highways of the region. Previously, the regional Ministry of Construction approved the planning project for the route from the village of Sartakovo to Novinki. The section is one of three stages of the road reconstruction from Bogorodsk to the village of Olgino. Positive conclusions from the state examination have already been received for the other two stages. The project provides for the expansion of the roadway to 4 lanes. However, the issue of allocating funds, as it turns out, remains open.

      "As of today, the sources of funding have not been determined. The implementation of the project is possible with the allocation of federal funding. The issue is under discussion," the agency responded to our editorial office.

      The timelines for the start of work and their duration have also not been specified - they will be determined after funding for implementation is found.
