Three villages have ceased to exist in the Nizhny Novgorod region: list
Three villages were abolished in the Nizhny Novgorod region on May 7. Laws on the change of the type of rural administrative-territorial structure of the region, signed by the governor, have been published on the portal for legal acts. In the Vozrozhdenie rural council of the Knyagininsky district, the status of the settlement Sosnovka was changed from a village to a selo (a type of rural locality). In addition, in the same rural council, the village Shishkoverd and the village Konstantinovka were merged into a single selo named "Shishkoverd." Consequently, the village Konstantinovka ceased to exist. In the Chernukhinsky rural council of the Arzamas district, the selo Pustyn, the village Menshikov and the settlement Staraia Pustyn were merged into a selo and named "Pustyn." Thus, the last two settlements were abolished. At the same time, in the Ardatovsky district, in the working settlement of Ardatov, the selo Sosnovka was transformed into a village.
