Canadians Feinstra complained about internet outages in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

May 10, 2026 09:00 Society The large family of Feinstras, who moved from Canada to the Nizhny Novgorod region, faced mobile internet disruptions again after a five-month trip to their homeland. As the head of the family, Arend, mentioned in a new video on their YouTube channel, they did not encounter any communication problems during their entire stay in Canada, whereas after returning to Russia, unstable internet became an issue once more. He noted that the disruptions even affect their daily life. For instance, one time the family was unable to pay for their purchases at one of the stores. By that time, they had run out of basic groceries at home, including milk, butter, and cheese. Later, they managed to buy everything they needed at another place. Recall that the Canadians went on vacation to their homeland in December 2025 and returned at the end of April. Initially, the family visited relatives in Canada and then went on a road trip across the USA in a motorhome. While the family was abroad, their household in the Nizhny Novgorod region was looked after by the Australian Hair family, who had previously moved to the region from Siberia.
