      May 7, 2026 18:45 Society On Victory Day, a thematic projection show (0+) will traditionally take place on the Dmitrievskaya Tower of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin. The mapping is based on key dates and symbols of the Great Patriotic War. Viewers will see the Eternal Flame, the George Ribbon, the golden star, as well as the congratulatory inscription "Happy Victory Day!". The light images will change from 20:00 on May 9 to 02:00 on May 10, creating an atmosphere of celebration and remembrance. We remind you that on this day, temporary restrictions will also be introduced in the Kremlin related to the events for the 81st anniversary of Victory. From 00:00 to 13:00 on May 9, access to the territory will only be possible with special badges and invitations through the gates of the Storage Tower. The gates of the Powder, Nikolskaya, Dmitrievskaya, and Ivanovskaya Towers will be closed during this time. Vehicle access will be allowed through the gates of the Ivanovskaya Tower with special passes. After 13:00, the Kremlin will be open to all who wish to enter. The Kremlin funicular will switch to a special mode on May 9 and will operate from 13:00 to 21:00. It was previously reported that state museums will be free on May 9 in Nizhny Novgorod.
