      May 5, 2026 13:55 Society At the construction site behind the dead ends of the "Gorkovskaya" metro station, the installation of the concrete slab intended for the assembly of tunnel boring machines is nearly complete. Recall that the continuous pouring of concrete mix into the pre-prepared metal frame of the trough was carried out there. In one day, specialists laid about 700 cubic meters of concrete. Preparation for this stage took two weeks. At the site measuring 70 by 21.6 meters, workers assembled and reinforced the structure, which required 123 tons of metal.

      After the concrete gains the necessary strength, builders will proceed to the next stage - the installation of the metal bed and the assembly of guide tracks for the tunnel boring machines.
