The Dzerzhinsk company lost nearly 6 million rubles due to the actions of fraudsters who created an exact copy of the website of a real legal entity. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Nizhny Novgorod region. Employees of the company, under a supply contract received through electronic services, shipped over 900 units of products via a transport company to an LLC registered in another city. The money never arrived in the supplier's account. Attempts to contact the buyer were unsuccessful. The real director of the legal entity to which the goods "went" was identified. He stated that he had not entered into any contracts or made any orders. It turned out that the criminals had created a phishing copy of the official web resource of the LLC, continuing to make purchases in the name of the organization. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the fraud.
