Raisa Fedorovna, who celebrated her 95th anniversary and was awarded the "Labor Veteran" medal, dedicated her life to the energy sector. Her career began in 1951 at "Uzbekenergo" as a technician-electrician, and she subsequently held positions as a duty engineer and senior engineer, and head of the laboratory. After being transferred to the Samarkand Sovnarkhoz in 1971, she continued her work at the Gorky Energy Management "Gorenegro," later at the "Sergach Electric Networks," and in 1982 returned to "Gorenegro." She retired in March 1986. The tradition of personal meetings between the management and employees of "Nizhnevenergo" with veterans - front-line soldiers and rear workers has been established for many years. Annually, in the run-up to May 9, participants in such meetings recall the events of 1941-1945 and discuss the post-war development of the energy sector in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The Great Patriotic War was a severe test for Gorky energy workers. During those years, their work depended not only on the lives of peaceful citizens but also on the success of military operations at the front.

      Employees of "Nizhnevenergo" honor the memory of those who fought at the front, worked in the rear, and restored the energy economy after the war. This is not just a tribute to the bright memory of the Great Victory - it is an opportunity to preserve for future generations the history of labor heroism, thanks to which modern energy in the region was created and modernized.
