      May 2, 2026 18:10 Society The lonely swan from Sormovsky Park has successfully endured the cold. It is now feeling well, reported the Ministry of Forestry of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The bird is already enjoying the April weather. In footage taken by the state hunting inspector, the swan can be seen swimming calmly and behaving naturally. Specialists found no signs of weakened health or diseases. The successful wintering indicates that there were suitable conditions and enough food in the park during the winter.

      It is worth noting that there used to be several families of swans living in the lake, but now only one bird remains. During the winter months, it was kept in a warm winter enclosure on the territory of the park administration.
