The second class of fire hazard has been established in nine districts of the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      On May 2, 2026, at 12:18, Society reported that the first and, in some places, the second class of fire hazard was recorded in the forests of the Nizhny Novgorod region as of May 1, 2026. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Forestry.

      The second class is fully established in nine municipalities: the urban district of Arzamas, as well as the Bolshie Boldino, Buturlin, Vad, Krasnooktyabrsky, Perevoz, Pilny, Sergach, and Sechenovo districts.

      Partially, the second class of fire hazard is in effect in 15 municipalities. These include the municipal district of the city of Pervomaisk, Ardatov, Bogorodsk, Bolshie Murashki, Voskresensk, Gagino, Dalenekonstantinov, Diveevo, Knyaginino, Lukoyanov, Pochinki, Sosnovsky, Spassky, Sharanga, and Shatki districts.

      The first class of fire hazard is fully established in 26 municipalities. These are the urban districts of Vyksa, Dzerzhinsk, Kulebaki, Nizhny Novgorod, and Sarov, as well as the municipal districts of Bor, Chkalovsk, Shakhunya, Balakhna, Varnavino, Vach, Vetluga, Voznesensk, Volodarsky, Vorotynsky, Gorodets, Kovernin, Krasnobakovsky, Lyskovsky, Navashinsky, Pavlovsky, Semyonov, Sokolsky, Tonkin, Tonshayevsky, and Uren.
