As of today, according to the mayor, the number of participants is already almost 110,000 people. "More than 1,200 units of special equipment are involved in the work, during this time more than 70,000 cubic meters of garbage have been removed from the streets and yards, 83 dumps have been eliminated, over 55 million square meters of lawns have been cleaned, and 237 new trees have been planted (for example, yesterday at Markina Square). We are also putting the infrastructure in order: we have repaired 286 children's and more than 50 sports playgrounds, restored 48 monuments and memorials, repaired and replaced a total of 152 garbage containers, installed 252 trash bins, and performed pothole repairs on more than 24,000 square meters of roads," said Yuri Shalabaev. The mayor added that the unstable and uncharacteristic April weather adds to the workload, but the pace has been good. "For the main types of work, the plan has already been completed by 80%.
