      Large families in the Nizhny Novgorod region can now apply for an annual compensation for part of the cost of paid education for their children in colleges and technical schools online. As reported by the Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Yegor Polyakov, for the convenience of applicants, in-person reception has been supplemented with a remote format, the service provision period has been reduced from 11 to 7 days, and the list of required documents has also been shortened. Now, only the contract with the educational institution and the payment receipt are required. A certificate of the child's education is requested through inter-agency cooperation. The optimization of the service was carried out by the Regional Center for the Optimization of State and Municipal Services of the Nizhny Novgorod region based on the State Budgetary Institution of Nizhny Novgorod "Authorized MFC" in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Development and Family Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod region. When submitting an application through the personal account on the portal gu.nnov.ru, it is no longer necessary to provide a passport of a Russian citizen and documents on the registration of civil status acts — birth certificates, marriage or divorce certificates, name change documents. To receive the service online, after authorization on the portal, you need to enter "education compensation" in the search bar and select the service "Annual compensation for part of the cost of education for children from large families in educational programs of secondary vocational education on a paid basis," then follow the instructions. Compensation can also be requested through the MFC. In the near future, it is planned to implement a non-territorial principle of application — regardless of the place of registration. Preliminary registration is available through the MFC portal of the Nizhny Novgorod region or by calling the call center: 8 (831) 422-14-21. The development of state online services is part of the federal project "Digital Platforms in Social Sphere Sectors" of the new national project "Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State," which is being implemented in Russia from January 1, 2025, by order of President Vladimir Putin.
