Ministry of Defense: An attack by UAVs has been repelled in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      On April 30, 2026, at 07:56, Society reported that enemy drones were shot down over the Nizhny Novgorod region last night, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

      Also, during the night hours, drone attacks were carried out in the Astrakhan, Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov, Ryazan, Samara, Saratov, Tula, and Ulyanovsk regions.

      In total, 189 Ukrainian "birds" were shot down by air defense systems.
