"Hands off!": organizers of the Unified State Exam are prohibited from searching students.

      On April 30, 2026, at 15:38, the Society reported that Rosobrnadzor has introduced a ban on searching students before the start of the Unified State Exam (USE), according to RIA Novosti. According to the recommendations, exam organizers and staff ensuring order are prohibited from touching USE participants and their personal belongings. If a metal detector goes off at the entrance, the student will be asked to voluntarily hand over the item that triggered the alarm. It can be left in a storage room or given to an accompanying person. If the student refuses, they will not be allowed into the exam venue. Those who violate the established rules will be allowed to retake the exam only during reserve dates at the discretion of the chairperson of the state examination commission.
