This was stated by Mayor Yuri Shalabaev in response to journalists' questions after his speech in the Duma on April 28, reports "Ъ-Privolzhye." According to the mayor, this does not involve financing federal agency facilities. The city administration is exclusively focused on city infrastructure. And the fence near the FSB building is precisely part of such infrastructure. "We have repaired Malaya Pokrovskaya Street; it will become a shared space with Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street and the Pochainsky Ravine. Therefore, we are gradually putting in order all the facilities located there, and where we see opportunities for improvement, we improve," explained the head of the city. Recall that in early April, the GUMMiD announced a competition for the replacement of the fence. The initial cost of the contract is 150.3 million rubles. According to the documentation, the contractor must complete the work by November 30, 2026. Currently, the application submission period has ended, and the commission has begun reviewing them.
