Vadim Garanin held his first training session as the head of FC "Paris NN".
On April 29, 2026, at 15:26, the sports club "Pary Nizhny Novgorod" officially confirmed the appointment of Vadim Garanin as the head coach of the team. The 55-year-old specialist will lead the Nizhny Novgorod team in the final part of the 2025/2026 season. Before moving to "Pary NN," he headed Lit Energy from the Media League.
Recall that after the defeat to "Spartak," the management of the Nizhny Novgorod club terminated the contract with Alexey Shpilevsky due to the team's sports results. Along with him, four assistants left the club. For the early termination of the agreement, "Pary NN" will pay the former coach 20 million rubles.
Previously, at the level of the Russian Premier League, Garanin worked in "Sochi." In the first league, he led "Chernomorets" and "Yenisei," with which he reached the semifinals of the Russian Cup in the 2021/22 season.
The coach's professional biography also includes five years of work at the Academy of Moscow "Dynamo" and experience with the Russian U-15 youth national team.
In addition, Garanin worked at Tula's "Arsenal," "Baltika-BFU," and "Tver" — both as an assistant and as a head coach.
It is reported that Garanin has already arrived at the club's location, met with the players, and conducted the first training session in preparation for the match against "Akhmat," which will take place on May 3 in Grozny.
With three rounds remaining in the current RPL season, "Pary NN" is in 15th place in the standings, having earned 22 points.
Earlier, Alexey Shpilevsky commented on his departure from the team. NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has channels on Telegram and MAX.
