      Authorities have introduced a state of heightened readiness on the slope section at Zelensky Avenue. The corresponding decree has been published on the city hall's website. It is noted that the decision was made, among other reasons, "to prevent threats to the life and health of citizens due to the risk of landslides in the area of the slope adjacent to the main landslide deformation area." The regime came into effect at 18:00 on April 14. The dangerous zone has been defined as the slope section of Zelensky Avenue from the side of Pozharsky Street — opposite the passage between houses No. 14 (Sheraton Hotel) and No. 16. The administration of the Nizhny Novgorod district has been instructed to install warning signs, mobilize necessary forces and resources, and organize continuous monitoring of the slope condition at the site of the ground movement.

      Recall that at the end of March, a landslide occurred at Zelensky Avenue. Its consequences were addressed over several days. At that time, there were reports of the likelihood of new ground movements. Recently, information about an alleged new landslide at Zelensky Avenue appeared on social networks. The city hall denied it, stating that snow removal was being carried out.
