      In Dzerzhinsk, the opening of a new road with a length of 3.3 km around the Dacha settlement took place. The project was implemented with funds from the Dzerzhinsk administration and the company "Magnit," whose distribution center is located near the settlement. Previously, freight transport passed through the populated area; now traffic has been redirected to the new bypass road. The head of the Dzerzhinsk urban district, Mikhail Klinkov, noted that the participation of a commercial organization in the development of road infrastructure has become an important experience for the municipality. Investments in construction amounted to about 500 million rubles. According to him, the new road will allow residents of the eastern part of Dzerzhinsk and the Dacha settlement to move without traffic jams, and for freight transport to deliver goods to stores in the Nizhny Novgorod region and beyond more quickly. The area of the company's distribution center in Dzerzhinsk is 57,500 square meters. It has created 1,200 jobs, most of which are held by local residents. The logistics hub works with 136 suppliers, 10% of which are local companies. Sergey Ratsev, the operational director for warehouse logistics in the Northwest region of "Magnit," reported that 150 trucks deliver goods daily from the distribution center to more than 750 stores in Dzerzhinsk and the Nizhny Novgorod region, as well as to neighboring regions. He stated that the construction of the road will reduce delivery time by 2-3 hours and simplify the movement of city residents, as it is intended for both freight and personal transport.
