This was reported by Mayor Yuri Shalabaev at a city council meeting on April 28, as conveyed by a correspondent from NIA "Nizhny Novgorod." According to the mayor, about 20 houses have already been relocated to date. Most of them have been demolished. Shalabaev emphasized that the mechanism of comprehensive development has proven its effectiveness. "It allows for the relocation of houses outside the framework of state and municipal programs, as well as the creation of social infrastructure," noted the head of the city. Currently, more than 25 contracts for the comprehensive development of territories have been concluded in the Volga capital. It was previously reported that in 2026, it is planned to demolish 20 emergency houses in the regional center as part of the emergency housing relocation program.
