The webinar on supporting IT specialists has taken place.

      Specialists from the ANO "Gorky Tech" together with the Ministry of Digital Development of the Nizhny Novgorod Region held an open webinar, during which they presented support measures for IT specialists in the region. The event was attended by representatives from 50 companies from eight regions of Russia — heads of IT companies, top managers, lawyers, financial and HR specialists. The main focus was on the updated conditions for using the support measure for the reimbursement of personal income tax (PIT) for attracted IT specialists, as well as the new rules and nuances for obtaining compensation. As noted by Alexander Sinelobov, the Minister of Digital Development and Communications of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the PIT compensation for attracted employees has been in effect in the region since 2024. During this time, about a thousand qualified specialists have been attracted to the Nizhny Novgorod Region, and the total amount of financial support for companies has exceeded 16 million rubles. Webinar participants asked questions about the specifics of obtaining PIT reimbursement, including from paid bonuses, about the further use of the received funds, the list of documents required for the application, deadlines for submission, and the procedure for opening separate subdivisions in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. Interest in the support measure was shown not only by Nizhny Novgorod companies but also by organizations from Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Moscow, Leningrad, and Sakhalin regions, the Republic of Tatarstan, Perm Krai, and other entities.
