This was reported by NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" citing the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod region. A year earlier, the figure was three times lower. In the first quarter of 2025, the average bribe amount was 182 thousand rubles. It was previously reported that the number of corruption-related crimes in the Nizhny Novgorod region increased by 15.3% compared to last year.
