Funerals in the Nizhny Novgorod region have become cheaper by almost 5%.

This is reported by the Telegram channel "Funeral Trust," citing Rosstat. In 2025, the average cost of funerals in the region was 49,045.36 rubles. Meanwhile, in the Volga Federal District, the average price of funeral services reached 54,769.97 rubles. Over the past year, funerals in the district have increased by 18.09%. Overall in Russia, the increase was even higher at 19.03%. Additionally, it is noted that the Nizhny Novgorod region became the only region in the Volga where a decrease in funeral costs was observed. The decline amounted to 4.87% by the end of the year.
