The interethnic youth forum "Russia is Strong with Heroes" will be held in Nizhny Novgorod with the participation of fighters from the Special Military Operation.
On April 25, in Nizhny Novgorod, a public-patriotic interethnic youth forum "Russia is Strong with Heroes" will take place at the site of the House of People's Unity. The event is held as part of the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, established by the Decree of President Vladimir Putin, and aims to strengthen civil identity, interethnic harmony, and patriotic education among youth. The organizers are the Federal National-Cultural Autonomy of Tatars and the Regional National-Cultural Autonomy of Tatars of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, with the support of the Federal Nationalities Agency and the House of People's Unity. About 150 people will participate in the forum, including students from leading universities in Nizhny Novgorod, representatives of youth and public organizations, as well as activists from national-cultural associations in the region. Key speakers will include participants of the special military operation—representatives of different nationalities. In an open dialogue format, they will share their personal experiences of service, talk about brotherhood in arms, mutual assistance, and cohesion in the area of the special military operation, as well as the values that unite the citizens of Russia regardless of their national affiliation. The forum will serve as a significant platform for direct communication between youth and defenders of the Fatherland, allowing specific examples to reveal the role of the multinational people of Russia in ensuring the country's security and forming sustainable public unity. "Today, in the face of modern challenges, the consolidation of the multinational people of Russia acquires special significance. Participants of the special military operation practically demonstrate that representatives of different peoples of our country are united by a common responsibility for its future. Such meetings with youth help to form stable value orientations, strengthen the sense of belonging to the fate of the Fatherland, and develop the traditions of interethnic harmony, which have historically been the foundation of Russian statehood," noted Timur Sharafutdinov, Executive Director of the Regional National-Cultural Autonomy of Tatars of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
