More than 130 Nizhny Novgorod companies participated in the Supplier Day in the "Construction" sector.

      April 24, 2026 14:55 Economy More than 130 small and medium-sized enterprises from the Nizhny Novgorod region participated in the Supplier Day focused on "Construction." The potential customer was the "Lemana PRO" chain of stores. The event was organized by the "My Business" center in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod region in accordance with the goals and objectives of the federal project "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship" of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy." According to the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Maxim Cherkasov, the event featured an exhibition where 23 companies showcased their products. Participants presented construction products made from wood-polymer composites, gardening tools, metal construction materials, fertilizers, and accessories for household and professional equipment. "The demand for construction goods and services remains consistently high, so it is important to create conditions for direct dialogue between manufacturers and customers. The format of Supplier Days helps companies find new partners and establish cooperation in a shorter time frame, which contributes to the development of the entire industry. At the meeting with 'Lemana PRO,' Nizhny Novgorod manufacturers held over 200 negotiations with company representatives and discussed possible cooperation options," said Maxim Cherkasov. The Supplier Day program included pitch sessions, B2B negotiations with company representatives, as well as consultations on business support infrastructure. Experts informed entrepreneurs about the existing state support measures that help prepare products to meet the requirements of large customers and expand production. "Our company has participated in Supplier Day for the second consecutive year. Today, products from 25 Nizhny Novgorod manufacturers are represented in stores, and their total turnover for 2025 amounted to 9.5 billion rubles. We are interested in further expanding this list and are ready to consider new proposals from enterprises in the region," noted Denis Chernienko, head of government relations at "Lemana PRO." In 2026, three Supplier Days have already taken place in the Nizhny Novgorod region – for the retail chains "Detsky Mir" and "Magnit," as well as for the Department of Education of the Nizhny Novgorod city administration. A total of 186 Nizhny Novgorod SMEs participated in the events. Four more Supplier Days are planned for the end of the year, involving companies from the retail, transportation services, and nuclear industries.
