"Beeline.Analytics": 7 out of 10 AI users in Russia choose "Alice AI"

      April 23, 2026 12:09 Society The top artificial intelligence services in Russia in Q1 2026 are led by "Alice AI" from Yandex with a share of 67%, according to a study by "Beeline Analytics" conducted in the mobile internet network. The closest competitor to "Alice AI" is DeepSeek, chosen by 29% of users. ChatGPT took the "bronze" with a score of 7%. The study was conducted based on aggregated anonymized data. It was found that every ninth Russian uses AI. Most clients of such services live in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, as well as Novosibirsk and Krasnodar. The core audience (60%) consists of people aged 35 to 55, with slightly more men than women (57% vs. 43%). Among the tools popular among male users, besides "Alice AI," are the AI programming assistant GitHub Copilot and the dialogue assistants Claude AI and Perplexity AI. The only service with a female majority (56%) turned out to be the platform for communicating with virtual characters Character.AI. The preferences of men and women were evenly split by the neural network from Sber, GigaChat. The study also showed that clients of AI platforms play online games more often than others (by 127%), watch digital TV (by 95%), read e-books (by 75%), and use cloud services (by 40%). Most neural network users choose Apple devices (27.1%). In second place in popularity are gadgets from Samsung (16.9%), and in third place is Xiaomi (16.9%). Meanwhile, the share of these manufacturers on average across the base is 18.86%, 28.24%, and 23.26% respectively, meaning Apple users are generally more inclined to use AI services. One of the tools for organizing access to AI in the mobile network for them becomes special tariffs, which they choose 2.5 times more often than other clients of the operator. Beeline's such tariff is called "Plan B."
