The unfinished Prioksky market could not be sold for 87.7 million rubles.
April 21, 2026 12:31 Economy The auction for the sale of an unfinished building at Marshal Zhukov Square near the former Priokskiy market in Nizhny Novgorod has been declared unsuccessful. No bids were submitted for the auction with a starting price of 87.7 million rubles. This is indicated in the lot card. The property is located in the Priokskiy district. The area of the unfinished building is 4,170 square meters. The degree of readiness, according to the extract from the Unified State Register of Real Estate, reaches 95%. At the same time, according to the conclusions of the judicial examination dated July 12, 2022, the indicator is 72.72%. The sale is conducted based on the decisions of the Arbitration Court of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. In 2023, the court granted the claim of the regional Ministry of Property and Land Relations and ordered the seizure of the property from the owner for subsequent sale through public auctions. In addition, the company was obliged to return the land plot to the ownership of the region and compensate for legal costs. Initially, the ministry attempted to sell the unfinished building at a starting price of 14.05 million rubles. However, the owner contested the valuation in court, presenting an expert opinion stating that the market value of the building exceeds 114.9 million rubles. As a result, a repeated examination was appointed, determining the starting price at 87.7 million rubles. The ministry announced a new auction. The auction is scheduled for May 28. It was previously reported that the Nizhny Novgorod region saved 110.5 million rubles in the auctions in March. NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has a Telegram channel.
