The first concrete was poured into the foundation of the KRT building on Samochkina Street.

      On April 21, 2026, at 16:30, Society In Nizhny Novgorod, construction work has begun on the residential complex "Spring in Zarechye." Builders poured the first concrete into the foundation of the first building. The project is being implemented as part of the KRT mechanism in the area of Samochkina Street in the Lenin District. The developer is the "Samolyot" group, which won the bidding.

      "KRT on Samochkina Street is one of the first sites being implemented by the regional government, where the improvement of living conditions for citizens is ensured by the investor. The start of construction work is the result of meticulous cooperation between public authorities and business in the resettlement of emergency and dilapidated housing and confirms the effectiveness of the KRT mechanism in addressing socially significant issues," emphasized Daria Shunaeva, Minister of Urban Development and Agglomeration Development of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      Preparatory work at the site has been completed: a pit has been excavated, the foundation base has been laid, engineering preparation has been carried out, and about 690 cubic meters of concrete has been poured.

      Vladislav Nepochelovich, director of the "Samolyot" group cluster, emphasized that pouring the first concrete marks the transition from the preparatory stage to the active phase of construction. Work is being carried out according to the approved schedule, and in the near future, the developer plans to begin monolithic work on the first floor level.

      The residential complex "Spring in Zarechye" is being built on a plot of about 13.7 hectares. The total volume of residential construction will be about 120 thousand square meters. The first phase includes four buildings up to 21 stories high.

      The agreement for the implementation of the KRT project was signed on October 6, 2023. The first stage of renovation began in December of the same year with the resettlement of dilapidated and emergency housing. To date, 132 families have received new apartments. In total, the project aims to improve housing conditions for more than 500 families.

      Thanks to the program, 1,200 residents from 39 houses will be able to move into new housing. The area also plans to build a kindergarten for 320 places, a clinic for 100 visits per shift, and a school for 1,100 students. In the fall of 2025, it was reported that an investment project for the creation of a new residential quarter had begun.

      In July, the architectural and urban planning appearance of the first apartment building with integrated public spaces was approved, and in March, the Nizhny Novgorod Ministry of Urban Development approved the architectural appearance of the planned parking lot.

      It was previously reported that the master plan for the KRT at the site of the former "Rossiya" cinema was presented in Nizhny Novgorod.
