A truck has turned across the M-12 highway in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      On April 20, 2026, at 11:12, Incidents A heavy-duty FAW truck with a semi-trailer was involved in an accident on the M-12 in the Nizhny Novgorod region, reported the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

      The accident occurred at night on April 20 at the 519 km mark of the "Vostok" highway + 193 m in the Buturlin district. Preliminary reports indicate that the 38-year-old driver did not choose a safe speed and crashed into the guardrail.

      Judging by the footage from the scene, the truck was overturned, and the semi-trailer tipped over. The roadway was blocked for two-thirds.

      The traffic police clarified that the driver of the heavy-duty truck was injured as a result.

      The day before, drivers were warned about worsening weather conditions on April 20. At night, temperatures were below zero, and in the morning, there was snow mixed with rain. Motorists are advised to be more cautious, not to speed, and to maintain distance.
