A concert dedicated to the "Victory Dictation" took place in Nizhny Novgorod.

      The event was organized as part of the United Russia party project "Historical Memory." In anticipation of the "Victory Dictation," a patriotic concert took place in Nizhny Novgorod. The event was organized by the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the United Russia party and the Nizhny Novgorod branch of the all-Russian public movement "Volunteers of Victory" with the support of the Ministry of Youth Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod region. Guests of the event were entertained by residents of the art residency "Height," artists, and vocal ensembles from Nizhny Novgorod. They performed songs from the war years, folk, and modern patriotic compositions. "Such events should be held more often. They bring generations closer through communication, creativity, and songs about the Motherland. I instill patriotism in my daughter by telling her about her great-grandfather, who was a rear guard. Participation in patriotic actions is our opportunity to preserve history and pass it on to our children," said event participant Maria Bondarovskaya. At the venue, activists from United Russia and Volunteers of Victory organized workshops for children. The kids made paper cranes, crafted and painted window frames, and wrote letters to the soldiers of the Special Military Operation. Young guests could have their faces painted with face paint and compete in accuracy games. "I enjoyed making origami and painting the window frames the most. It's so cool to try something I've never done before. The atmosphere here is very fun and kind," shared 10-year-old event participant Zlata Bykova. An exhibition dedicated to the "Victory Dictation" campaign was also organized for the participants. "Love for the Motherland and a reverent attitude towards its history are first born in live, emotional formats – songs, games, creativity. Patriotism cannot be imposed; it can only be instilled through respect for the past and responsibility for the future. The 'Victory Dictation' is a continuation of this education; it is an event that allows us to remember the key historical events of our country. It is important that each year more people, including the younger generation, join it," noted Dmitry Filipenko, head of the Nizhny Novgorod regional executive committee of the United Russia party.

      The "Victory Dictation" will take place on April 24 across the country. Everyone willing can participate and test their knowledge about the Great Patriotic War. Let us remind you that the preservation of Russia's cultural and military heritage, as well as the patriotic education of youth, is one of the most important areas of implementing the People's Program of United Russia and the party project "Historical Memory."
