      April 19, 2026 15:52 Society Over the past day, April 18, no new cases of flooding have been registered in the Nizhny Novgorod region. At the same time, part of the previously flooded areas has cleared of water, reported the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations.

      Thus, water has receded from 15 household plots. Of these, two are located in the Kstovo district of the city of Nizhny Novgorod, one in the "Olha" gardening association of the Bor municipal district, two in the "Sanda-2" gardening association of the same district, and ten in the "Kolos" gardening association in Bor.

      In addition, traffic has been restored on one low-water bridge in the settlement of Natalinka in the Pochinkovsky district.

      Currently, flooding persists in 15 municipalities of the region. There are 77 household plots, 12 low-water bridges, and 8 sections of roads remaining in the flood zone.

      The situation affects the city district of Nizhny Novgorod (Kstovo district), Arzamas, Bor, as well as the Navashinsky, Semyonovsky, Vetluzhsky, Voskresensky, Volodarsky, Gaginsky, Pavlovsky, Pochinkovsky, Sergachsky, Sechenovsky, Uren and Shatkovsky districts.

      According to operational services, there are no casualties or injuries as a result of the flooding. Evacuation of residents to temporary accommodation points is not required.
