A state of increased readiness has been introduced at two houses on Plotnichny Lane.

      On April 17, 2026, at 12:18 PM, the authorities of Nizhny Novgorod introduced a heightened readiness regime near houses No. 12 and No. 20 on Plotnichny Lane, located next to the Pochainsky Ravine.

      As noted in the city hall's resolutions, the decisions were made due to the emergency condition of the houses and the threat to the life and health of residents.

      The heightened readiness regime for house No. 12 began at 6:00 PM on February 26, while for house No. 20 it started at 6:00 PM on March 19.

      The administration of the Nizhny Novgorod district has been instructed to cordon off the dangerous area with warning tape, determine the forces and resources needed to eliminate the emergency situation, and notify the owners and residents.

      It should be noted that both buildings are wooden, two-story structures built in the early 20th century.

      Additionally, last year, the city hall seized the emergency house No. 14 (letter A) on Plotnichny Lane. The building was recognized as subject to reconstruction, and the site was included in the municipal resettlement program.

      It was also reported that a heightened readiness regime was introduced near the house in Kanavino, where Gorky's uncle lived.
