      In the Nizhny Novgorod region, the regional stage of the All-Russian Employment Fair "Work of Russia. Time of Opportunities" will take place. It will be held on April 17 at 35 branches of the employment service, including in Dzerzhinsk, allowing residents to access modern staffing services close to home.

      The main venue will be the Sormovsky branch of the Nizhny Novgorod staffing center "Work of Russia" located at 137 Komintern Street in Nizhny Novgorod. In Dzerzhinsk, job seekers are expected at the address: 67A Tsiolkovsky Avenue.

      More than 150 leading enterprises and organizations in the region will present their vacancies. Job seekers will have access to over 5,000 offers in the fields of industry, IT, agriculture, construction, transportation, and social services. The working hours of the venues will be from 10:00 to 19:00.

      "We see how the structure of the economy is changing: the share of high-tech industries is growing, and the demand for skilled trades is increasing. Leading enterprises in metallurgy, shipbuilding, the defense industry, and machine engineering will present vacancies that truly form the staffing framework of the region's economy. Importantly, a significant portion of the offered positions are skilled trades with wages above the regional average. For us, this is not just numbers, but a systematic effort to synchronize the demand of enterprises and the supply in the labor market," noted the Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Yegor Polyakov.

      This year, the fair is timed to coincide with the 35th anniversary of the employment service, which is celebrated on April 19.

      "Our specialists approach each visitor individually. This is not formal consulting, but deep work: from skills analysis to support during the employment stage. We help create a resume that will be noticed by employers, conduct mock interviews, and remove psychological barriers. Special attention is given to participants of the SVO (Special Military Operation) and their families. For them, we have built a personal support route: from defining a career trajectory to adaptation in a new workplace. Job seekers with disabilities will be able to join the fair in an online format. And citizens of pre-retirement age will not only be able to find a job with a flexible schedule but also undergo professional retraining in in-demand areas," said acting director of the Nizhny Novgorod staffing center "Work of Russia," Elena Vidyaeva.

      At the fair, citizens will be able to find suitable jobs from verified employers, learn about opportunities for free training in in-demand professions within the framework of the national project "Personnel," and receive consultations on resume creation, interview preparation, and career orientation. Specialized platforms for employers, educational institutions, and social partners will be open.

      The fair will also feature workshops and training sessions on various topics related to employment and career growth.

      For young people, testing will be organized to identify professional inclinations, as well as consultations with specialists about temporary employment opportunities for minors. Additionally, a "Festival of Professions" will take place with a karaoke center that will introduce kids to current areas of activity.

      The day will conclude with a joint viewing of a film dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the employment service.
