The first to appear in the region's forests are traditionally morels and false morels. They are most often found in well-warmed areas - on edges, clearings, and along forest roads. Vodeneyeva emphasized that these mushrooms belong to the category of conditionally edible and require caution when preparing. In particular, the common false morel contains the toxin gyromitrin, which is not completely destroyed during thermal processing.
