Evgeny Lyulin answered the serious questions from young activists from Dzerzhinsk.
In the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod region, a meeting took place between the speaker of the regional parliament, Evgeny Lyulin, and students from Dzerzhinsk School No. 27. The students' introduction to the parliament began with a tour of the historic building. The schoolchildren visited the museum section, where unique archival documents and photographs are displayed, telling the story of the development of legislation in the region. They were able to see how the work of deputies has changed over the decades and what important decisions were made within these walls. Additionally, the staff of the Legislative Assembly conducted a quiz for high school students. The students competed in questions about the history, activities, and powers of the regional parliament, as well as recalling facts about famous residents of Nizhny Novgorod. The schoolchildren demonstrated creative activity and a serious approach to the task. The score gap between the teams that took the prize places was minimal. Afterwards, in a dialogue format, the students asked the speaker of the parliament a variety of questions: from the development of children's camps and the construction of sports facilities to the preservation of Orthodox culture and the role of religion in modern society. "When I was coming here, I thought the meeting would be very serious, and I would be terribly nervous. But I immediately relaxed when I realized that a deputy is just like any other person who can help or give advice. I managed to ask a question about children's camps, and the answer was encouraging: work on their development is ongoing. The tour confirmed my knowledge as a student of the socio-economic profile, and the quiz solidified it," noted 11th-grade student, volunteer, and organizer of city events Irina Volkova. One of the key topics of conversation was the future of Dzerzhinsk. The speaker spoke about a unique project for Russia, developed in collaboration with Andrey Kuvaev, the director of the Center for Adaptive Sports "Parus," to create football fields for the youngest children. Last year, 19 playgrounds were opened in the city of chemists, and this year at least 15 are planned. In the future, the goal is to provide such playgrounds for all kindergartens in Dzerzhinsk. At the end of the meeting, Evgeny Lyulin thanked the students for their sincere questions and concern. The most active participants in the parliamentary quiz were awarded memorable prizes by the speaker, and all participants in the meeting received souvenirs from the Legislative Assembly.
